Our Shanty Choir was formed in the city of Schwerin, the capital of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Northern Germany), in 1980.
It now consists of 25 men who are devoted
to singing seamen's songs.
However, our performances are also not lacking in folklore or humour. |

Since our foundation we have made more than 1600 appearances, including company parties, community festivals, folk festivals, receptions, family celebrations and a
variety of other occasions to provide good light entertainment.
We have also been invited to appear in different radio and television series.
Our greatest successes include competition wins in ZDF
television and in the music duels on NDR radio.
We are always ready to travel and play our part.
Our sphere of activity takes us to the Baltic,
Scandinavia, the Balkans and as far away as the Pacific.
And of course, we travel the whole of Germany
from the north to the west and as far as the alps. |
